RECAP OF PUEBLO BONITO PACIFICA RESORT & SPA, CABO

I recently came back from a trip with my mom in Cabo, staying at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. I never get to travel with my mom so it was really special to get to bring her. Usually when I go somewhere I barely spend any time at the hotel and I’m out exploring and interacting with people and the locals. This trip, we decided to just relax and really enjoy the resort. I always tell people I go on trips, never vacation. This was the closest I felt on vacation in awhile.

We stayed at Pueblo Bonito for three nights. Nestled on a beautiful beach front with 2.5 miles of a wide, pristine and empty beach, this luxury all-inclusive resort exclusively caters to adults only. We stayed in the Towers at Pacifica, which is a more modern yet elegant addition to the resort, and our room was beautiful.

When you think of an all-inclusive resort, you usually tend to think it’s not as nice, or the food isn’t as good, but this was the nicest all-inclusive resort I’ve ever been to. I found it actually rated on resort and travel lists as one of the top  all-inclusives in the world. I think the food at resorts and hotels is so important, I found the food at the four Pueblo Bonito’s restaurants exceeded my expectations. We dined on property  the first night at the Peninsula restaurant and enjoyed fresh lobster, ceviche and pesto pasta, and the following two nights we enjoyed dinner at Quivira Steakhouse and La Frida for Mexican food.

The service and staff were really friendly. Alan was our amazing beach and pool server who got us everything we needed throughout the day, and our personal butler Ricardo was extremely attentive and helpful with arranging anything we needed as well. I also want to shout out Carlos for being an amazing server at breakfast to us!

My mom and I got to experience the spa and both enjoyed relaxing massages. It was so nice to see my mom finally relax because she works so hard, she was in heaven! The massages were amazing.

Cabo is a great weekend getaway from LA because the flight is only 2 hours. The only thing about Cabo is there aren’t very many swimmable beaches besides Medano Beach because of the undercurrent. The beach at Pueblo Bonito isn’t swimmable, but it is still beautiful regardless. If you get too hot the resort offers two beautiful pools (one with a swim up bar), and jacuzzis as well.
