The skincare brand I use DAILY, both morning and night- Skin-Ceuticals. I’ve blogged about Skin Ceuticals before because it’s my favorite and they are the brand that inspired me to start taking care of my skin after attending a brunch a few years ago where they taught me so much about skincare. You can read about my previous blog post on Skin Ceuticals where I explain my routine and what products I use here, but I’ll also walk you through it below, and talk about new products that I’m excited to share with you!
I recently attended another brunch hosted by Skin-Ceuticals, this time in collaboration with Cassileth Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills, to learn about an exciting new product and to get my Custom D.O.S.E that was designed specifically for my skin needs. Both products are now added to my daily skincare routine.
A lot of people ask me how I take care of my skin and I’m here to tell you the exact products I use every day which consist of all Skin -Ceutical products.
Cassileth Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills is one of the SkinCeuticals partner physicians where yo-yo can get a custom skin serum that is created and designed for your skin needs, made right in front of you in less than 10 minutes! This concept and professional service is revolutionary because everyone’s skin is different, and everyone has their own personal concerns they want to treat. This service uses highly potent ingredients and a consultation from a skincare professional to create your own personalized corrective serum. I met with Doctor Chang for my Custom D.O.S.E and she asked me my skin concerns before we got started. I basically told her hydration is key for me- I am in the sun a lot, and I’m always on airplanes because I travel so much so I wanted the main ingredient in my custom serum to be really hydrating. You can choose from several ingredients, but every custom D.O.S.E has 4 ingredient combinations. She also added an exfoliant to help get rid of dead skin and give me a constant glow (all about the glow!), as well as an ingredient to help slow down and prevent aging, fine lines and wrinkles. She made the perfect serum for me, and I now use it every morning and night as the first thing I put on my face before any other product.
This is a nighttime glycolic acid cream that promotes cellular turnover for healthy, glowing skin. The acid acts as an effective exfoliant and this night cream has been proven to improve overall skin tone, texture and radiance. I started using this cream every other night to try it out on my skin before I started using it every night. You can still use this in addition to daily night creams and moisturizers, and even with the H.A Intensifier which I also use at night.
A vitamin C serum with environmental protection improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, tightens and brightens the skin complexion. I put this on after my Custom D.O.S.E serum every morning.
One of Skin Ceuticals best-selling products, the H.A. Intensifier plays a big part in my daily skin routine. I use this corrective serum every morning and night, as it amplifies your skin’s hyaluronic acid levels. It’s basically a hydrating serum that helps reduce lines and wrinkles and improves the appearance of smoothness, firmness and facial plumpness.
This is my favorite Skin-Ceuticals product! It is a moisture enhancing serum that feels cooling and soothes the skin, restoring radiance for a smoother complexion. I love the texture and feel of this serum- it feels refreshing and ultra-hydrating on the face.
I wear sunscreen with SPF everyday on my face with or without makeup. This is a fairly new habit ever since I learned (and actually started caring about) the important of wearing SPF to protect your skin from sun damage and to prevent the signs of sun spots, wrinkles and fine lines. I mix it with the Daily Moisture after applying all the other products as the last thing on my face before leaving the house or applying makeup.
I mix the daily face moisturizer with the UV Defense Sunscreen with SPF (I use the SPF 30), to moisturize and protect my skin from the sun.
I have to thank this brand for changing my life when it comes to skin care. I swear by the products and have used them everyday for the past 3 years.
