CARTAGENA, COLOMBIA

This year I visited Cartagena, Colombia and it made my top list of favorite places I’ve visited thus far. I’ve had another insane year of travel, so I’m finally catching up on all my travel posts to wrap up 2017. Because I went with a group, we had a schedule we had to stick to so wasn’t able to venture so much on my own to hit up the best restaurants and food spots so I will be back to create my own Cartagena guide. I plan to go back in 2018, but thought I’d share my pictures from this trip in the  meantime. I went to Cartagena with Foray Collective and Maaji Swimwear. I went with a few of my favorite blogger babes and the best word to describe the trip is magical. We stayed in the heart of Cartagena in a beautiful house put together by Maaji, which is a Colombian swimwear brand. The city of Cartagena is colorful with a Spanish charm. It almost feels like you are on a movie set, …

A GLIMPSE OF REALNESS!!! BEHIND THE SCENES OF MY TRAVELS

Everybody knows Instagram isn’t really REAL. People edit the shit out of their pictures, they show the best second of their day…it’s not an accurate depiction of someone’s real life. People show what they want you to see. I am guilty of it myself…I kind of got sucked in to the whole “pretty Instagram thing”. Everyone wants their page to look cool, you want to brand yourself, and I totally get it. It’s what pays the bills for some of us so we conform to what works, what brands like, and what will give you the most likes. I have been struggling to find a way to find a different lane, to try and show the most authentic ME as possible. My followers do know I love to eat, which is something they see through my IG stories and snap chats, giving a more “behind the scenes” look into me and my life. Food is a huge part of who I am. I like Instagram stories and LIVE, because people can actually see and get …

LA QUINTA RESORT & CLUB + L’SPACE GETAWAY, PALM SPRINGS

Escaped to the desert for a little getaway this past weekend at La Quinta Resort & Club. I was invited by the resort for a weekend escape in partnership with L’Space Swim, to relax and hang out by the pool. I never “relax” on trips so it actually felt like the first time I did in years which was nice.  I brought a friend with me and we spent our days relaxing by the pool, had a private meditation session and enjoyed the beautiful spa. Traveling all the time takes a toll on me, so having a few day retreat like this once in a while is much needed for my health lol. I love Palm Springs. My grandparents had a house there so growing up it would be the place where we would have family getaways a few times a year on special occasions. Palm Springs is kind of nostalgic to me. I remember the warm nights spent with my family, spending hours by the pool, going out to dinners and making breakfast all together …

IBIZA + FORMENTERA, SPAIN

I chose Spain as my summer destination, so had to make a stop in Ibiza to see a few of my friends that were also there for the summer. This was my second time in Ibiza, but I had gone in 2010 when I was a lot younger and had no idea what I was doing back then lol. Now I know how to do it right- a bunch of my friends go every summer and I was with a good group this time who knew all the places to go. We rented an AirBnB villa and also rented a car to get around the island. We stacked up with groceries and booze for the week and spent the days at the villa, and nights out. To be honest, I’m not the biggest drinker or partier anymore, so going out five nights in a row in Ibiza sounded like pure torture to me lol. I went out three of the five nights which was more than enough for me. The clubs there aren’t really my …

MALLORCA, SPAIN

Mallorca was the final finale of my summer ’17 trip. It was the perfect end to an incredible summer in Europe. I had been to Mallorca in 2010, but only for one night. I spent five nights this time and stayed in an AirBnB in a charming alley in the heart of Palma, which is Mallorca’s capital city. Palma has plenty of shopping, restaurants and bars and it’s so nice to wander and get lost in the streets there. You can pretty much walk everywhere in Palma and it’s a great central location to stay on the island. I also have to recommend Rambla 28 for a fresh and healthy meal. I called it “Mama’s Kitchen” because it was always a woman or her daughter cooking everything in front of you in their little shop that serves healthy toasts, smoothies, salads, and the bombest sweet and savory crepes made from scratch. I literally went there every day for five days straight for a meal. It’s on La Rambla street in the heart of Palma and its …

RECAP OF PUEBLO BONITO PACIFICA RESORT & SPA, CABO

I recently came back from a trip with my mom in Cabo, staying at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. I never get to travel with my mom so it was really special to get to bring her. Usually when I go somewhere I barely spend any time at the hotel and I’m out exploring and interacting with people and the locals. This trip, we decided to just relax and really enjoy the resort. I always tell people I go on trips, never vacation. This was the closest I felt on vacation in awhile. We stayed at Pueblo Bonito for three nights. Nestled on a beautiful beach front with 2.5 miles of a wide, pristine and empty beach, this luxury all-inclusive resort exclusively caters to adults only. We stayed in the Towers at Pacifica, which is a more modern yet elegant addition to the resort, and our room was beautiful. When you think of an all-inclusive resort, you usually tend to think it’s not as nice, or the food isn’t as good, but this was the nicest all-inclusive resort …

MY SPANISH SUMMER: BARCELONA GUIDE

I usually pick one to two destinations each summer to travel to. This summer I chose Spain and spent the majority of my time there. I visited Barcelona, Ibiza, Mallorca and Valencia. I wanted to do an overall break down of my favorites in every city from food, clubs, beaches or sights to see. First up, Barcelona! I went in the beginning of summer and at the end- when I visited Barcelona at the end of summer in August I was there during the terrorist attack that occurred on Las Ramblas. I was staying at a hotel just a few minutes away, and it was a serious wakeup call to what is going on in this world, and it was the first terrorist attack in Barcelona ever. I went back the second time to Barcelona to attend a festival called Fiestas De Gracias which is a local neighborhood street festival. The different neighborhoods in Gracia decorate their streets and its a competition who has the best decorated street, the winner receiving a big cash prize. The …

CANADA TOUR WITH FAIRMONT HOTELS

I recently went to Canada with Fairmont Hotels and Via Rail Canada (the Amtrak of Canada) on a luxury Canadian cross-country trip to celebrate Canada’s 150th year as part of the confederacy with Fairmont & Via Rail. We started the trip in Quebec City and stayed at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. It was my first time ever in Quebec City and it was the cutest city ever. It was snowing when we arrived and the whole city was covered in it. I had just come home from my trip to Israel so I went from desert to snow real quick, ha! We spent two nights and one full day at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac and it was so nice- it literally looked like a castle. We wandered the streets of Old Quebec City and enjoyed our time at the hotel. Our next stop by train on Via Rail Canada was to Montreal. We stopped in Montreal only for a few hours and it was raining unfortunately. We decided to venture out to Old Montreal …

ISRAEL VIDEO

It’s finally here! It’s been almost two months since my trip to Israel, and I finally got my shit together and got this video done. If you have been following my adventures for awhile, you probably saw my first Israel video I posted two years ago on my YouTube Channel. Israel is a very special place for me. My dad is Israeli and grew up in Israel, and I have a big family there. Visiting Israel growing up became part of my life and is now a huge part of me. The world has many misconceptions about Israel, and I didn’t get into the politics of it in this video, but I did want to show a glimpse of my personal experience there and what it means to me. It is my favorite place in the world. I produced this with Solmaz Saberi, (www.solmazsaberi.com) who travels with me on my trips. Because Israel is a complicated place, we wanted to take a different approach on how we filmed this time and what we wanted this video to …
