LA QUINTA RESORT & CLUB + L’SPACE GETAWAY, PALM SPRINGS

Escaped to the desert for a little getaway this past weekend at La Quinta Resort & Club. I was invited by the resort for a weekend escape in partnership with L’Space Swim, to relax and hang out by the pool. I never “relax” on trips so it actually felt like the first time I did in years which was nice.  I brought a friend with me and we spent our days relaxing by the pool, had a private meditation session and enjoyed the beautiful spa. Traveling all the time takes a toll on me, so having a few day retreat like this once in a while is much needed for my health lol. I love Palm Springs. My grandparents had a house there so growing up it would be the place where we would have family getaways a few times a year on special occasions. Palm Springs is kind of nostalgic to me. I remember the warm nights spent with my family, spending hours by the pool, going out to dinners and making breakfast all together …

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC W/ MODELISTE MAGAZINE

For those that follow me, you know I’ve been traveling like crazy! I just got back from New York, Italy, Greece and Croatia, and heading back to New York this week for Fashion Week. Sorry for the gap in my postings! I wanted to share pictures from my recent trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic with Modeliste Magazine and a few of my favorite bloggers. We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana. The resort is absolutely HUGE. It’s an all-inclusive with several restaurants on property, as well as lots of pools and even a casino and night club. It feels like a Vegas hotel.  There is a lot going on, and it’s located on a beautiful beach. My room was beautiful and spacious and I had my own hot tub in the middle of it. It’s a great  place to stay for families or with a group of people. Check out a few of my favorite pictures from the trip. Also had to wear my swimwear collaboration with Naked Wardrobe. My girl Jessi …

MIAMI SWIM WEEK 2016

Miami Swim Week is always crazy. This was my second year going and there is so much going on but it’s always fun. Each day my schedule was packed with parties, events and runway shows but I couldn’t make it to everything, it was exhausting. The main reason I went to Swim Week this year because it was right after I launched my swim line and I thought it would be great to have a presence there. I did a giveaway and gave all my model and blogger girlfriends my suits while I was out there. I even met Tash and Devin wearing my bathing suit and they kept saying how much they loved it so thought that was pretty cool. (I love them!) Below are a few of my favorite pics from this year. Make sure to follow along my snap chat for big events like this to see all the madness behind the scenes! It ain’t as glamorous as it looks 😉 (snapchat: Nicole_Isaacs) Shows/Events I got invited and/or went to: -Galore X …

NICOLE X NAKED WARDROBE SWIM

I designed 14 swim suits for my own swim collection for Naked Wardrobe.  I am always traveling to beaches around the world and I am that blogger always in a bikini,  so it made perfect sense. I designed the suits with my personal style and body type in mind. This collection represents me and my style.  It’s simple, classic and sexy. I’ve never designed my own collection for anything before so it was a learning process, but super exciting to see an idea flourish into existence. I am a perfectionist so wanted everything to be perfect on the first run- but obviously ran into some trials and tribulations which is common. A few things backed up the release date but better late than never right! I wanted every style to come in black, white and nude. I opted out on colors and patterns and stuck to classic solid neutral prints. The manufacturer didn’t have the right color nude I wanted so we got backed up on the nude styles because we decided to create the color nude …

CANCUN WITH ONIA

I recently just came back from a blogger trip with the swim wear brand Onia in Cancun, Mexico. I spent a few days at Nizuc Resort & Spa and it was absolutely beautiful. The weather was rainy most of the time which was a bummer, but it was still amazing to be there and we all still had fun and made the best of it. We spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool, eating lots of food (what else is new), and we took a boat out one day to see Isla Mujeres and swim in the ocean. We also all went out in Cancun one night to dance at a few bars/clubs which was really fun! Take a look at my pictures from the trip. The last 9 photos are by photographer Jorden Keith. (All swim suits are Onia).

MIAMI FOR HALLOWEEN

I was in New York for a few meetings and to spend my sister’s birthday with her. Since I was already on the East Coast I decided to take a quick flight to Miami to meet up my friends for Halloween weekend. I had never done Halloween in Miami before, so was excited to let loose and go out. I never go out to parties or clubs anymore, and I never really drink. I am such a homebody and have already gotten all the clubbing and partying out of my system, so this Miami trip was definitely a shock to my body (ha!). I ended up at Liv three nights in a row, and by the third night I literally couldn’t hang and went home early. I’m officially a grandma. I didn’t take so many pictures this weekend because it was all fun, but I wanted to share a few pics anyway…Check my Instagram for outfit and bikini details: @NicoleIsaacs

KAWASAN FALLS, CEBU, PHILIPPINES

I’m in the Philippines! After flying into Manila, I had a couple hours to kill before my flight to the island of Cebu. After landing in Cebu, I drove for 3 hours to get to Kawasan Falls. It’s a beautiful waterfall in the lush mountains of Cebu. After we parked it was about a 10-15 minute walk along a beautiful, clear freshwater river leading to the waterfall. Right when we started walking it started to rain (just my luck), but it was a warm rain so it actually made the experience unique and kind of special. Stay tuned for more of my Philippines trip on the way!
