ANGUILLA

I just came back from an amazing few days in Anguilla. It was my first time ever there. I have always wanted to go and needed a few days of relaxation to end my crazy year of nonstop traveling. I went with a few blogger friends and we stayed at The Reef by CusinArt, Anguilla’s newest luxury resort. This was the first time I visited a new place and didn’t explore outside of the resort. I stayed put and really enjoyed the hotel and its amenities. Next time I visit, which will be soon, I will definitely explore the island more and its beaches. The Reef by CusinArt has only been open for a few months and everything is exquisite. Its situated on a beautiful  beach, with a beautiful pool and oceanfront suites. I stayed in one of their oceanfront junior suites and woke up with the best ocean views every morning. I was in heaven. Besides being on a beautiful beach, my favorite part of the resort was the food. Being a CuisinArt Resort, …

IL BORRO, TUSCANY

I’ve been to Italy many times, but this was my first time visiting Tuscany. I absolutely loved it and couldn’t have had a better first experience. I stayed at Salvatore Ferragamo’s resort called IL BORRO.  Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves is the 700 acre estate in the heart of Tuscany known as Il Borro. The property is breathtaking, and it is one of those places in the world that is truly magical.  Il Borro was established more than a thousand years ago and has a lot of rich history. A lot of the ancient history remains a mystery, but it is known that the property was a lookout point on the Roman road “Cassia”which they built a fort due to its strategic location. Prestigious families owned the property dated back to the 12th century, until Ferruccio Ferragamo bought the resort in 1993 and restored the estate to what it is today. I stayed in one of their luxury suites in the quaint and charming medieval village. The village is untouched from hundreds of years ago, and it …

CROATIA

I spent two amazing weeks traveling throughout Croatia and was in constant awe of the country’s beauty. It’s by far one of the most breathtaking countries I’ve been to and now understand why it’s become a major hotspot and popular tourist destination. Island hopping is a must when visiting Croatia, especially in the summer months. I spent time on the islands of Hvar, Vis and Brac and all were worth visiting. I also went to Split which is not only the main port city for getting to the islands but also full of cute restaurants and bars. Gem-colored water alongside forest trees make up the coastlines—the vibrant greenery combined with the traditional orange colored European rooftops and royal blue water makes for a truly unique landscape. The entire country is breathtaking and worth exploring, but the old city of Dubrovnik is what made my Croatia experience completely magical.  SPLIT Where to stay: Vestibul Palace HVAR Where to Stay: Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort DUBROVNIK I’m a huge Game of Thrones fan, and Dubrovnik is one …

BERMUDA

A quick flight from New York and anywhere on the East Coast is the island of Bermuda. I often visit New York and have always wanted to make the trip to Bermuda because it’s so close, and I finally did. Bermuda is a happy and beautiful island. I was blown away by how genuinely friendly and happy the locals were. I found in all my travels that the local people have such an impact on your experience. My most magical travel experiences are in places where the local people have good energy. The energy of a place is highly affected by the energy of the people there. Unfortunately out of the three days I was in Bermuda, it rained two of those days. I only had one sunny day to experience the island and its beaches and that was not enough. I was definitely not ready to leave. Because it was raining, we had to figure out other things to do besides lay by the pool and go to the beach. We decided to visit …

THAILAND WITH MY BESTIES

I went to Thailand with two of my best friends Caity and Dominique. This was my first NON work trip in a long time so it was so much fun and honestly the experience of a lifetime to be able to travel with two of your closest girlfriends. Caity had an appearance at Comic Con in Bangkok so we were there for a few days, which was a few days too long lol. If you’ve ever been to Bangkok you know what I’m talking about. It’s not a place you want to be for more than a full day. The beauty of Thailand is out of the city and in the North and on the islands. I went to Thailand with my dad in 2009 so this was my second time there. I really love Thailand. It has gotten a lot more touristy since 2009, but it is still amazing. I highly recommend visiting Northern Thailand (specifically Chang Mai) to experience authentic Thailand. I visited Chang Mai with my dad but did’t get a chance …

CANCUN WITH ONIA

I recently just came back from a blogger trip with the swim wear brand Onia in Cancun, Mexico. I spent a few days at Nizuc Resort & Spa and it was absolutely beautiful. The weather was rainy most of the time which was a bummer, but it was still amazing to be there and we all still had fun and made the best of it. We spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool, eating lots of food (what else is new), and we took a boat out one day to see Isla Mujeres and swim in the ocean. We also all went out in Cancun one night to dance at a few bars/clubs which was really fun! Take a look at my pictures from the trip. The last 9 photos are by photographer Jorden Keith. (All swim suits are Onia).

SEMINYAK, BALI

Seminyak is Bali’s party scene. It’s a fun beach town buzzing with restaurants, boutiques, bars and beach clubs. If you want to experience the action, I definitely recommend visiting Seminyak. It has an entirely different feel from Ubud and it’s good to experience both. My Seminyak list includes these trendy spots: Potato Head Beach Club, Ku De Ta, Motel Mexicola, La Plancha Beach Bar, Sarong restaurant, and the W hotel. W RESORT & SPA SEMINYAK I stayed a few nights at the W Resort and Spa in the heart of Seminyak. Located right on the beach and next to the popular Potato Head Beach Club, the W has an exciting energy and is the perfect place to stay to be in the heart of all the action. It was a nice change of pace after relaxing in Ubud for a few days. I stayed there during the W’s 5-year anniversary party and danced under the stars and fireworks at the Woobar. I got my party fix in, but also had time to relax and enjoy …

FOUR SEASONS BALI EXPERIENCE

FOUR SEASONS SAYAN I couldn’t leave Ubud without experiencing the Four Seasons Sayan. It came highly recommended and is another great choice when looking into luxury accommodations in Ubud. Also located in the middle of the rainforest and alongside the Ayung River, the Four Seasons exudes complete tranquility surrounded by the beauty of mother nature. It’s unique architecture was built from the inspiration of Ubud’s signature rice terraces, staying true to traditional Balinese design. The resort’s main entrance is breathtaking, with a vast circular lily pond on top of the main lobby, signifying the center of a large rice bowl. The lush property is surrounded by tropical palms, rice farms, lily ponds and scattered gardens of fruit trees, medicinal and spice plants, all of which are labeled by name. The Four Seasons put together a personalized itinerary of Sayan Signature Experiences which allowed me to really get the full resort experience. I practiced Power and Anti Gravity Yoga in the amazing open air bamboo studio overlooking their own rice terraces. Anti Gravity Yoga uses a …
