BELIZE 2019

My second time in Belize and another great experience. I went to Belize a few years ago and really loved it too. It’s one of my favorite places to snorkel and be in the ocean- the marine life is incredible and so colorful. I stayed 9 nights this time and it was after Coachella so I really wanted to go somewhere to relax for once and not have to stress too much about work. What really made my experience special this time was staying at Coco Plum Island Resort. This is in no way a paid ad- staying there really made my trip amazing and I wanted to share my experience with you. It’s definitely a place worth looking into if you visit Belize. The staff there was exceptional and super attentive and friendly, the food was delicious, and the tiny remote island of Coco Plum Resort was a little slice of heaven in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. I got SO many questions about this place from my stories and IG posts, asking …

GIRLS TRIP IN DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

My 4th time in Dominican Republic and I love it more and more each time. This was my favorite trip to DR thus far. I went for my girl Christine’s bachelorette trip, hosted by the Dominican Republic Board of Tourism @GoDomRep. The past 3 trips to DR I’ve spent my time around the Punta Cana area which is where most people stay when visiting because its known for its beautiful beaches and all inclusive resorts. This time we explored the north coast hitting the beautiful beach towns of Samana, Cabarete and Puerto Plata. This was one of my favorite trips- it was an incredible group of girls and it was just good vibes the whole time.  I wish I can go back to re-live some of these moments again. I breakdown our loose itinerary below! Everyone always ask me my favorite place I’ve ever traveled to. Besides the food, culture and beauty of a place, the energy of the people is what makes a place for me. You can have all of the above but …

TRINIDAD CARNIVAL 2019

Another Carnival for the books! This was my 2nd year doing Carnival in Trinidad. I have only done Carnival in Jamaica and Trinidad (Brazil is still on my bucket list), but I love going to the one in Trinidad.  I love everything about Carnival. The music, the dancing, the culture- it’s an event that brings people together no matter where you’re from with good vibes all around. This year I had so much fun. I played with Harts both years because I love their costumes and the energy of their band, I’ve met so many amazing people in the past two years. This year I brought my good friend Racquel with me and we had a blast. I wrote a blog post on my first Carnival experience in Trinidad here, with lots of general info you need to know for your first time. I got so many more questions on logistics this year for attending Carnival, and how much it costs and where I got my costume etc. You can read my first blog post …

ANGUILLA

I just came back from an amazing few days in Anguilla. It was my first time ever there. I have always wanted to go and needed a few days of relaxation to end my crazy year of nonstop traveling. I went with a few blogger friends and we stayed at The Reef by CusinArt, Anguilla’s newest luxury resort. This was the first time I visited a new place and didn’t explore outside of the resort. I stayed put and really enjoyed the hotel and its amenities. Next time I visit, which will be soon, I will definitely explore the island more and its beaches. The Reef by CusinArt has only been open for a few months and everything is exquisite. Its situated on a beautiful  beach, with a beautiful pool and oceanfront suites. I stayed in one of their oceanfront junior suites and woke up with the best ocean views every morning. I was in heaven. Besides being on a beautiful beach, my favorite part of the resort was the food. Being a CuisinArt Resort, …

ARUBA

I jetted off to a last minute trip to Aruba for the weekend with Marriott Caribbean & Latin America Resorts. I went through their newly launched Solo Travel Series which is such a cool concept for traveling solo. It offers two packages- one called “All About Me” and the other “Solo & Social” to cater to different types of solo travelers. This really appealed to me because I started traveling solo after I quit my steady job last year, and basically started traveling alone to build my own brand and try to make a living out of it. Many people don’t have someone to travel with so they decide to travel alone, and this program offers all the safety precautions so all you have to do is enjoy yourself and not have to worry about the risks that come along with traveling solo. I got to Aruba after a hurricane and left right before Hurricane Nicole (how coincidental/appropriate lol) so I got really lucky. The weather was cloudy the first day and the ocean wasn’t calm like it …

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC W/ MODELISTE MAGAZINE

For those that follow me, you know I’ve been traveling like crazy! I just got back from New York, Italy, Greece and Croatia, and heading back to New York this week for Fashion Week. Sorry for the gap in my postings! I wanted to share pictures from my recent trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic with Modeliste Magazine and a few of my favorite bloggers. We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana. The resort is absolutely HUGE. It’s an all-inclusive with several restaurants on property, as well as lots of pools and even a casino and night club. It feels like a Vegas hotel.  There is a lot going on, and it’s located on a beautiful beach. My room was beautiful and spacious and I had my own hot tub in the middle of it. It’s a great  place to stay for families or with a group of people. Check out a few of my favorite pictures from the trip. Also had to wear my swimwear collaboration with Naked Wardrobe. My girl Jessi …

GUIDE TO TURKS & CAICOS

Hi!!! I’ve been away in Turks and Caicos and finally settled back in Los Angeles and catching up on the blog. I have so much content to share so it’s taking me some time to get organized. I wanted to share my experience, give you some recommendations when traveling to T&C, and share with you some of my favorite pictures. I’m also doing a Turks & Caicos Top Three feature for Haute Living, so be sure to check that out once it’s live on their site to see exclusive pictures and adventures from my trip! Turks & Caicos VLOG coming soon too… http://hauteliving.com/2015/04/travel-blogger-miss-jetsetter-explores-the-best-of-turks-and-caicos/561552/ Known for it’s pristine beaches with beautiful turquoise water and white sand, Providenciales Island in Turks & Caicos is the ultimate beach lover’s vacation destination. I stayed for nine days which is a pretty long time to be on the island, but it gave me ample time to really discover the best the island has to offer. From visiting all the luxurious resorts, dining at the top recommended restaurants, and looking into all the excursions …

PUNTA CANA, DR

I recently visited Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for the 2nd time. I was there with a group of friends, and we basically just relaxed, ate & drank, played Monopoly and did a one day boat excursion. I was only there for 3 days so it was a pretty short trip, and I didn’t take many pictures because I tried to shut my brain off and disconnect. I had done a lot of traveling before getting there so I just needed a few days to relax and unwind. I was pretty much a slob (ha). I’ve been to most islands in the Caribbean and they are all beautiful, but one I haven’t been to that is next on my list is Turks & Caicos. Stay tuned!
