FINLAND

I tried to go to Finland this past December but it was so last minute I couldn’t make it work in time. I have always dreamed to be in a place like Finland over the Holidays- Rudolph, sleigh rides, Santa’s home, Northern lights- it always seemed so magical to me and what more of a perfect time than to go over Christmas and the holidays. That is obviously the busiest time of year just like most places so I decided to plan a trip for February instead which is also considered peak season there, and you still get the beautiful snowy winter vibes. I went for 9 days and stayed at 5 different places, so I got a really well-rounded feel of Lapland. CANADA TOUR WITH FAIRMONT HOTELS

I recently went to Canada with Fairmont Hotels and Via Rail Canada (the Amtrak of Canada) on a luxury Canadian cross-country trip to celebrate Canada’s 150th year as part of the confederacy with Fairmont & Via Rail. We started the trip in Quebec City and stayed at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. It was my first time ever in Quebec City and it was the cutest city ever. It was snowing when we arrived and the whole city was covered in it. I had just come home from my trip to Israel so I went from desert to snow real quick, ha! We spent two nights and one full day at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac and it was so nice- it literally looked like a castle. We wandered the streets of Old Quebec City and enjoyed our time at the hotel. Our next stop by train on Via Rail Canada was to Montreal. We stopped in Montreal only for a few hours and it was raining unfortunately. We decided to venture out to Old Montreal …
