SWITZERLAND

Since I’m recapping my 2017 travels, one of my most memorable trips of the year was my trip to Switzerland. I was working in Sweden for a job at the end of June, and wanted to visit somewhere in Europe after the job finished since I was already out there. I brought my friend with me while working in Sweden, and we were deciding between South of France and Switzerland. She wanted to go to Paris and the south of France, and I wanted to go to Switzerland. Everyone is in the South of France or Italy during the summer, especially bloggers, so I really wanted to go somewhere unique and different that not a lot of bloggers go to. It turns out, Switzerland was the cheaper flight, so I ended up getting my way 🙂 I had two struggle trips this year, the first one was Jamaica and the second was Switzerland. Although I found a cheap flight, I didn’t realize Switzerland was one of the most expensive countries in the world, and the …

PARIS

I went to Paris with one of my best friends Caity recently and had the best time. She had a Comic Con appearance and asked me to come with her so for once it wasn’t a work trip and I actually felt like I was on vacation. We were with a really fun group of people that she worked with on her TV show. We explored during the day, went vintage shopping and went out to some great dinners at night. We even went to see Moulin Rouge! The show itself was a little outdated but it was an amazing experience to get to see it, and we got to go backstage to meet the dancers which was pretty cool. See a few of my Paris pics below! RESTAURANTS: (Below are a few well known Paris restaurants I ate at): L’Avenue- Great people watching in a pretty neighborhood. Perfect for lunch. Hotel Costes- Caity and I had an amazing dinner at Hotel Costes. Very Parisian. I sat next to  Olivier Rousting, the Creative Director of Balmain which …

MONACO

After spending two weeks in Italy, I spent a couple days in the South of France with two of my girlfriends for my belated birthday. We spent 2 nights in Nice, and then Monaco for one night. Monaco a sovereign city-state located along the French Riviera. We wanted to visit Monte Carlo, which is a very prestigious area in Monaco where the famous Monte Carlo Casino is, along with the beautiful Hotel & Cafe De Paris. Monte Carlo is extravagant and expensive, but very beautiful. My girls and I spent the day walking around Monte Carlo, laying by our hotel beach and pool at the Le Meridien Beach Plaza, and went to Nikki Beach on the rooftop of the Fairmont Hotel to have a few drinks later in the day. We had an amazing dinner at Cipriani’s (the chilean sea bass was the best fish I ever had), and went out to a club to celebrate my friend and I’s birthdays. We had so much fun! Monaco & Monte Carlo is definitely a place worth seeing, …
