EMSCULPT BODY TREATMENT REVIEW

Happy New Year guys! I know the majority of the posts on my blog are about food and travel but I also wanted to share a little bit about my life when I’m home in LA. Since I’ve had some time off traveling coming into the new year, I’ve decided to focus on myself and self-care. I’ve been giving my body the rest it needs and trying to get back on a routine which is difficult to do when on the road. I don’t consistently work out, I also don’t sleep well and don’t eat right when I travel and it starts to take a toll on me. I finally started to go back in the gym which was SUPER hard for me after months of not going. Because I am in an active mindset right now, in addition to the gym I decided to start EMSCULPT treatments by BTL Aesthetics. EMSCULPT is the first and only non-invasive body treatment that activates and enhances both muscle strength and body fat breakdown. FDA cleared and clinically proven, this treatment is brand new on the market and an innovative approach to muscle strengthening and toning without surgery or using a needle. It’s completely safe with no down time- it’s also non-thermal, non-ionizing and non-radiating. I was a little nervous to try it out because I didn’t know what to expect and I don’t usually do treatments of any kind, but I heard great things and was curious about what the results would be. I’m also deathly afraid of needles and blood (LOL), so surgery or any invasive body treatment would never be an option for me.

I finished a total of 4 EMSCULPT treatments at Dr. Brian Kinney’s office in Beverly Hills. They recommend going consecutively for 2-3 weeks, 2 times a week for a total of 4-6 treatments. I did both my abs and my butt (30 min treatment for each, one hour total for entire treatment). EMSCULPT is essentially a machine that vibrates the muscles on hard-to-tone areas of your body, activating muscles with high-intensity magnetic field energy. As of now the treatment is only cleared for your abs and butt. The vibrations from the machine activates your muscles in the same way they are activated with an intense workout at the gym. At first I was not used to the feeling of my muscles being clenched so intensely- it was a sensation that took a bit to get used to. It didn’t hurt, but it was slightly startling in the beginning. As I progressed through the treatments I became completely used to the feeling.

After the 3rd treatment I began to see results in my body. I felt like my stomach got flatter and more toned and I also felt like I could see a difference in my booty. It definitely looked and felt perkier. EMSCULPT is in no way a weight loss treatment- it supports a healthy lifestyle by targeting hard to tone areas to strengthen muscles and helps breakdown body fat. I believe in taking care of yourself naturally, and I’ve never done any body treatments or cosmetic surgeries before (I’ve never even gotten a facial!), but I felt EMSCULPT was the perfect jumpstart to motivate me to maintain the results, get me back in the gym and live a more healthy and active lifestyle. I believe you need to find motivation within yourself, but sometimes a little push can’t hurt. After finishing the treatments I’ve been going to the gym a few times a week and just been more active in general. After a treatment you can continue your day normally. I’m glad I gave it a try and am determined to maintain the results.

In my industry it’s important to feel confident about yourself. I travel the world on camera for a living, therefore I have to take care of my body and health as much as possible so I can feel good and confident no matter where I am in the world. Being healthy and active allows me to maintain stamina, longevity and energy to be able to continue to do what I do. As I get older, I realize the importance of health and taking care of my body. Like I said before, I’ve always tried to attain results 100% naturally and I like the fact that EMSCULPT is completely non-surgical and non-invasive- it’s a machine that simply stimulates your muscles. It’s the first body treatment I decided to try and I wanted to share my experience with you guys. Feel free to message me about it,  I’d be more than happy to to answer any questions you have!

In addition to exercising more regularly, these photos were taken after I completed the treatments.

    Hi-

I’m considering Emsculpt and wondered how long the results last. You got yours earlier this year–are the results fading at all yet?
